Program Assistant
Williams Asdrúbal Castillo Miranda is a native of Granada. He attended Salesiano for secondary school and studied psychology at the Universidad Centro Americana (UCA). He also studied one year of graphic design at INTAE.
Williams has worked a variety of jobs before starting at Education Plus in February of 2017 as our Program Assistant. Besides working at Education Plus as a volunteer teacher/tutor in 2012, Williams also has worked as a personal trainer and at a call center in Managua. In this manner he was able to perfect his English and gain more experience in how to coach sport. Williams states that he has now found the job that he is passionate about. He tells us:
I love to work with the students because it is easy for me to communicate with them. I never feel like what I do is work, it’s just a great time that I get to spend with the kids.
Williams is in charge of maintaining order on the sports court, cafeteria and playground areas at the school, as well as distributing school supplies and working in the classroom as an assistant whenever needed. Williams is our Jack-of-all-trades – when we need help with something, he always rises to the occasion.
Williams enjoys playing soccer and video games during his free time. His favorite movie is Avengers! Infinity Wars 🙂
